Livingston Community Health

The School Health Services Program is designed to provide a range of support services primarily for students in foster care, and then displaced/homeless youth. Services include one-on-one Student Engagement sessions; facilitation and hosting of monthly foster youth group meetings with youth-selected topics at highly impacted schools; linkages between foster youth and community resources as well as school-site services and supports; linkages between school-site Community Liaisons and community agencies to meet the needs of parents and students; and assistance in the development of services and supports for foster youth across the district. We work closely with school site Administrators, staff and Counselors in a collaborative manner to support foster youth and displaced students. The goal of this LCH & MUHSD partnership is to better engage foster and homeless youth in learning and meeting their educational achievement goals, provide youth leadership development opportunities, and to link them to vital services. Our team of two School Health Services Managers is listed below with the schedule of their assigned school sites:
