How to Log into Destiny
- From the destiny Library Catalog
- Select your school
- Select ‘Login’ at the top of the page
Logging In
- Your User Name is you 6-digital ID
- Your Password is you 8 digital birthday (eg. 02071999)
- IF it is a single digital month or day, put a zero in front.
- If you have any trouble logging on, click on Forgot Password or email your librarian.
Finding My Info
- Click the ‘My Info’ tab at the top left of the page.
- “Library Materials” are reading books, novels, games, etc.
- “Textbooks” are textbooks, chromebooks, chargers, class novels, AP shelf books, calculators, etc.
- “Fines” are monetary or book obligations for which you are responsible and MUST be paid OR returned.
Using Resource Lists
- Found on the left side bar
- These are pre-populated lists created by librarians
- Lists trypically cover a particular genre or style of literature
Searching for Books
You could use the Resource Lists discussed in the previous slide OR use the card catalog/Destiny search.
Find books by:
- Search with keywords
- Search by author
- Search by title
- Search by subject
- Search by series
